The morning weather was cloudy but dry (the forecast rain stayed away) so we decided to do the walk along the coast from Broadstairs to the Viking ship at Pegwell Bay that we wanted to do. After a gentle start we set off from Margaret's at about 10.00.

We walked down to the seafront at Broadstairs and then set off in the direction of Ramsgate staying up on the cliff tops. It was breezy, but ...

    Day 10 - Ramsgate beach

Today we decided to start off our stay in Ramsgate with a trip to their beach which was about a mile from the rental house. Unfortunately our bed is not very good with it creaking every single time either one of us rolls over in bed. The traffic also was really easy to hear through the windows as well since our room was ...

... user of the shower cubicle had left their bottle of shower gel behind, as it was empty. Beggars can’t be choosers, so I managed to coax a few dregs out of it, just enough to have a wash, and stomped back to the caravan in a bad mood. We then had to go through the hassle of moving the caravan to a pitch well away from the noisy family. We enjoyed an hour or two of peace and then – you ...

... Tim Holt to have a few beers with Mes and Sim. After some great brews we went back to Mes and Sim's place to have some carry out and more great beers before hitting the hay for the night. We got a great nights sleep and headed back to Ramsgate and to the Gadd's home.

Eddie whipped us up some great curry and fresh hopped IPA for dinner. We took an afternoon to train out to Burwash to visit our friend Fiona and her ...
