Wednesday morning we drove to Monadnock State Park to climb Monadnock Mountain. It is an isolated mountain 3165 feet high in New Hampshire. Monadnock is thought to be the most climbed mountain in all of the USA. It is the highest mountain in 30miles and it is 2000feet higher then all its surroundings so normally you get amazing views of Massachusetts and New Hampshire and even Maine. Leaving Massachusetts, I finally felt ready to start the next chapter of my life.

Thank you Holy Cross Class of 2014! I look forward to seeing many of you when I get back in May!

Bisous,
Lili

PS. I promise that future posts wont't be as lengthy!

One show day, or How a circus celebrates a holiday

A travel blog entry by clara.sayre on Jul 04, 2014

We only had one show today at 2pm since it's a holiday and I guess the assumption is that families have plans later on in the day. No fireworks scheduled (someone said they're illegal in MA so I don't know if that's across the board or only for individuals) so the circus is buying us pizza and beer/soda for everyone to enjoy after the show.

More rain last night flooded the lot a bit more but thankfully the river next ...
