    ... mix and talk with each other. Around 5pm the others left for home, with some having a 4 hour trip to get home. John then made pastry to make into noodles for tea. They were so good. After tea John prepared the dough to make bread for the morning. He mixes it and leaves it to rise overnight, then bakes it in the morning. It's really yummy.     ... from the old building at Harbord Public School when I went there ... and which you can see in the attached photo.

    As usual, the presence of a huge cast iron stove and the chimney/heating pipe running the length of the classroom is quite different from what we would expect in Oz ... and a reminder of just how bloody cold Canada gets. Real freeze the ***** off ...
