Last Friday I went to a local bar where there was a band performing, the Nova Hearts. They are a band from Beijing, but they sing english music, their music is like alternative and techno. Any way, they were amazing. After that I met up with some friends at a KTV. KTV is a karaoke place expect you rent your own room! There were lots of English music too so it was a lot of fun! To past week I also was able ...

Not perfectly, and I probably won't wear it straight for a while, but enough that I could walk around without obsessing over it! I mean really who do I have to impress here :/ Once he was finished, he curled my hair, and didn't do a bad job, I paid 46RMB which I don't think comes to even 10$ CAD. I wasn't being cheap, they just aren't ...

... in them :) I am also working on food prep and becoming more familiar with the food stuffs available. I made garlic mash potatoes, stir fried veggies with steak the other night and it was so good. Probably the first meal that I have cooked that actually tasted the most like home. I prepared meat balls the other night I think I will use some in a tomato sauce and have pasta. KFC is a big thing here, I mean they love their deep fried chicken. They are scattered around ...
