... or I will no doubt be sick (again)!
I will add some photo's when I arrive on the isle of Tasmania, and I will write again once I am over the jet lag.
Goodbye for now my lovely friends and family.. see you all in 6 months or so!! Love Julia x x x
This is just to get the ball rolling as it were.
Our aim is to have a life laundry over the next few months. Plan our year long trip through Europe. Sell or pass on to others things we need. Buy and equip a motor home. Produce a photo/video documentary of the trip.
Well I am happy to report that despite postal strikes I have my passport back and a multiple entry visa stamp inside.
I was so relieved to have the passport back.I really do not like to be parted from it.
All I have to do now is get through the next 4 weeks at work.Oh well I am sure I will manage.
Bye for now.
... And a big G'day to my sis, Robz!!! Take care of Dad and give him a big hug from me, will ya? ;) And G'day to my Nan!!! (If you're reading this Nan, sorry about all the swearing, I'll have to ask Robz to print you out a censored version). And of course, big G'day's and Hellos to everyone else back home and to our mates round the world. Can't have anyone feeling left out can we? Bye everyone! Will write more, eventually. Well, will probably write more, at some stage. Y'know, sooner or later. When something interesting happens or something.
Liverpool, England, United Kingdom pauly... t sure if it was free or not. After relaxing in our hotel for a little while, Dawn and I wandered around the hotel, as there's a main stairwell that has HUGE photos of the Beatles, solo and as a group, and we took photos of everything, from the 5th (aka 6th in America) floor down. When we got to the bottom, security told us that we weren't allowed to be taking photos! There were no big signs stating so, so we didn't know. It feels strange not to be able to take a ...

Liverpool, United Kingdom betuca... appear then disappear but I was confident if I continued down the Mersey I would get to Liverpool. Occassionally I would stop at a pub to rehydrate with a lemonade and stock up on water. The afternoon stretched into evening and I headed towards Warrington where I decided I could catch a train to Liverpool and hopefully make the 10:30 pm ferry to Belfast. After losing the signage (again) for the Trans Pennine Trail I decided to follow the road that ran parallel to the ...
Liverpool, United Kingdom boydieWanna buy a house? This seems to be the preparation and sorting time, we have decorated one room and arranged for the bathroom to be revamped, plans set for a new kitchen set, two estate agents have priced the house and it seems we will have enough to downsize to a smaller house and travel for a year. My employers will give me a year career break (without pay) I need to finalise this. So now bloggers we are looking for advice and suggestions of our ...
Liverpool, United Kingdom rich_bonnieJohn took me to Blackpool. He may have wanted to show me a UK beach resort. The street along the beach was full of decorations. I took a picture of his profile in the car. It was just a memory of Blackpool. We were on the way from Preston, where we met his old friend, and John talked about the word "love", because people there used "love" meaning "you" very often, when they talk to someone, like "Good morning, love!". That sounded awkward to him.
