      ... eaten in a parking lot near the highway bridge at Castle gar before we checked out the suspension bridge built to connect two Doukabour communities. The Doukabour interpretive Village doesn't open until May and we had to give it a miss. It was highly recommended to us. The nearby Kootenay Gallery of Art featured a great exhibition of work by Julie Elliot. Visually dramatic while more subtlety complex, the layers of media speak of the journey ...

      ... outer edge of town, I found a Walmart and once again Maura was in the right place at the right time. She was sitting in the CRV in the parking lot. We loaded up on zinc oxide products and more Gatorade.
