There's really not much to say about Reno, so this will be a very short entry.

We literally just spent a night in Reno with no purpose except to sleep in a bed for the night en route to Oregon.

On the bright side, en route to our hotel, I got another Starbucks mug:

... drove through this river valley with an old railroad track paralleling the new one. The contrast of the wooden platforms against the dry sage bushes made it feel really "western".
