... It was a Nevada State park, so you have to pay $12 for parking ($10 for Nevada residents). And it can be very crowded during weekend. The gate will be closed once the parking lot is full. So it's best to be there before 11am or after 3pm during weekends. There are however some roadside parking outside the park, but you do have to walk quite some distance to get to the park.

... no great bathroom stops. Eventually, we find a state run site and it has a great brand new, squeaky clean bathroom facility -- the national parks usually offer you a pit toilet. Guess it worked out ok.
