... in the dark greeted by a young girl who couldn't have been more 15 who showed us to our room. When she opened the door a massive cockroach ran out! She couldn't speak a word of English and the only thing she said to us before walking away was 'toilet', not even showing us where it was! This was our first bad accommodation experience. We said our goodbyes to Dev that morning as he dropped us off at airport. We were quite glad he was getting to go home as he seemed rather ill. After an hour flight we touched down in Goa airport. (Great flight that saved about a day and a half on the train, for only £50) We checked in at our hostel - Silver Moon - a nice little family run buisness with a hamock outside each room and a well needed cold drink on arrival.
