This will be a short and sweet entry... After our lovely flight with a TV and a free drink and crackers included we arrived in Jakarta. We flew into here as it was so much cheaper than flying straight to Bali (our flight was only £30, and it was £130 to get to Bali) so it was just somewhere to fly to and then we were planning on getting a train to Bali for £10... However we had a slight situation! Haha! When we arrived we were so tired from only having two hours sleep ...

... to breakfast and sat outside so we could listen to the game there too. We started playing better and it was halftime so we went back to the room. After halftime not a great start, so we left the room again and came down by the pool to listen to the second half. We got the last two lounge chairs under umbrellas (it's Saturday so the pool is busy again). ... using a blurry map. The evening had the potential to go so wrong, but the kids and the locals were pretty harmless in the grand scheme of things. Although the crime rate and theft is surprisingly low in Jakarta, we still felt like one wrong turn could have got us in a lot of trouble. Safe and sound back home, we packed our bags, had a beer and went to bed.

Big Cuz has decided to play driver today, so it's out for breakfast first.. Michel's patisserie.. Yep, same as in Aus..only the menu has changed rather.. do think their coffee was nicer too.
