    ... spend a bit of money there. The shop size was like 6 shops in Nz put together it's crazy. After awhile we decided to leave Emirates mall and head to my cousins baseball game which was very American, there is a hot dog stand etc and there are a lot of American expats.     We did have the opportunity to "experience" high tea at the Burj al Arab, the other major Dubai "superlative". It claims to be the only 7 star hotel in the world.     ... in their shop windows. Just as we were about to leave suffering exhaustion, we noticed the Giordano shop so in we wandered and we stayed for about 45 minutes choosing various T-shirts on sale. Before we knew it, we had spent enough to earn a free back pack, but because we really didn't need another back pack, we gave it to the Filipino sales assistant who had patiently assisted us in our purchases. I hope he liked it.

    ... bits in the hour that we had in the 43 deg heat... Driver then took us to the Dubai mall which is the biggest shopping mall in the world??? Amazing. Massive fish tank, every shop you have every heard off. 1200 shops to dads horror!!! BUT. It is Ramadan. Illegal to eat or drink in public. No where to eat lunch.
