    Today we leave Duabai. Had a good sleep and did lots of walking yesterday...even too hot and tired to eat diner.this s good! This morning had a big breakfast to keep us going. Flight leaves at 2pm. Another 7 hrs to France. Graham is busy helping me pack usual!

    ... Since we arrived in Dubai at 8 p.m., I was afraid this time of night would work to our disadvantage because I had a fear that I wouldn't be able to get the full impact of the city at night...but I was wrong. Every building that we saw was lit up with colorful beams of light, and the city seemed to become more alive as the night continued on.

    Dubai is a truly magical place, and I hope that someday I can return to explore what more this futuristic city has to offer.
