    ... we then went to The Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, it started off with a tour behind the scenes and an opportunity to feed some of the 30,000 fish in the large tank.     ... Kinda expensive here for stuff!! It was great coffee though. We saw the Grand Mosque and the opera house. We will go to the Mosque another day. The beach was enough for today! We all have been sleeping a lot. We are all a little backwards. Missing a day will do that. Right now the girls are in bed and us adults are just chillin. Hopefully I can get Daisie writing soon and you all can get her perspective. That's it for now. Hugs and love to all Mama ...

    Back across the creek for a late lunch, and then, bravely, we thought, we took the metro back towards the hotel. From the metro station we walked through GH the Dubai Mall, the largest mall in the world, and took in the giant aquarium on the way.

    Boarding is called and instead of being allowed to enter the top deck by escalator we are forced to enter a lift holding 4 people at a time. You remind yourself it’s their country – their rules.

    Once on board we are told because of refuelling problems we have missed our slot to take off. Instead of 10.15am it’s now 11.30am. So over Qantas. ...

    ... where it's @. I've only just realized that if you ask for a drink, they bring you one. If you ask for another, they bring you that one too. If you ask for a selection of cocktails, bottles of wine, beer and juices, they call you a pig but still bring them all again. The 8 year old and her mother look shocked at the amount of empties surrounding me, but they haven't seen the things I've seen, man.
