Arrived safely and only a little bit late. Non eventful night. We ended up on an Emirates plane for our flight and the spacious seats and leg room made for a pretty comfortable night. Got a bit of shut eye, ate a tasty meal and finished my audiobook! ...

Not much exciting today. Got the Roissy Bus no drama thanks to Mums instructions and had a 7 hour flight to Dubai. We arrived at night and wandered down the road for Maccas, it was 10 pm by the time we ate. The Raddison is gorgeous, very luxurious! We got wash clothes and cold iced tea bought to us while we were checking in, our room is amazing. I'll add some photos tomorrow. Lots to see in 2 days so more busy days to come ...

... salted soy beans. An array of fine delicate sweets with a tower of green tea chocolate with fresh fruits. The best mojito I have had in a long time. Mel has a emirates platinum loyalty card that they get discounts for it maybe small at the time but the last few days it has saved a bucket load. The hotel was stunning with a beautiful floral Easter display still on show. What a wonderful shopping and dining ...

... skyscraper and in between, this large 7 lanes in each direction highway. This created such a big scars in the city. In Montreal we complain about Decarie... Imagine it was 14 lanes large. The sidewalk are empty, except in front of the Tim Horton. But its easy to understand, imagine the sound of a 14 lanes highway with cars running at 100km/h. Thats the sound of Dubai, the sound of car. We are far way from the living ...
