... went, Chip started a fire while I made bottles and fed babies. We just got settled in by the fire and it started to snow. It was a picturesque morning to open presents and enjoy this first Christmas as a family of four. The boys settled in for their morning nap around 9 but by noon we had stuffed them in their snowsuits for a walk in the snow (which had accumulated to at least 3-4 inches by then). That evening we ...

... you told me 6 months ago that I'd be excited for them to wake up from naps, I'd laugh in your face (and then probably start crying because I was so exhausted). I used to crave my free time and now, I feel I get the perfect amount of both. This parenthood journey has really changed me. Well, all good things must come to an end (maybe Chip wasn't thinking this...) but we sent him back to work on May 19th. Over dinner last night Jim firmly suggested we ought to leave this morning early, not wait for 9am as was our plan, so we thought we would leave at 8am and when we left at 20 to, were feeling justifiably pleased with ourselves.

... have it! Tomorrow is the big day. Or who knows, maybe Friday is the big day. Either way, we are looking forward to everything to come. My mom flew in today from Minnesota for 9 days so she is ready to help in any way she can. We will do our best to keep friends and family as updated as possible (whether that be in the blog or through phone). Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers!

Here's to one last silent night in the Keller household...
