... been very hot so we've taken advantage of our very nice hotel and sat outside under a large verandah with copious cups of tea and coffee ... oh and the occasional trip to one of the many bars selling very nice craft and draft beers. After a 280 mile drive we pulled into the A & A Mesa Verde resort a nice little campsite with an amazing view of Mese Verda and a hot tub and epic chill-out games room. Me, Betina, Sofia and Danielle decided to share a log cabin as we we're too soft to brave the wind and rain. Myself and Joe where responsible for tea so we ...

... short drive to the petrol station, the engine warning light came on in the car.
It had felt a little lumpy for a day or two, so I decided we needed to talk to someone about it, particularly as we were heading across vast wastes with no phone.
Monument Valley? A great place, but not a great place to break down.
Anyway, with the light now firmly on, it may be nothing important, but if I didn't report it and we broke down you bet your ...
