... kids were acting tired even before dinner was served, so we optimistically changed them into jammies. It was a nice thought but as soon as the food came out they were determined to have some.

During dinner, we hit some mild turbulence and all of the flight attendants had to sit down. They had to sit down for a loooooooooooong time - like a couple of hours. Since their service wasn't technically completed, they left the lights on in the cabin... ...

Crossing the Alps

... too much and tired due to our disruption last night. Planned to drive over the Alps into Italy only to find the road was closed, feeling very jealous of the people out skiing and snowboarding around us. Backtracked slightly to get back on the highway to take us into Italy, taking us up and over the Alps with spectacular views. Parked up near a castle overlooking a lake after loosing alot of height, no snow in sight only a backdrop of snowy peaks from the Alps.
