    What to do on your first full day at Miami Beach?

    You start the day off with a 4km run at 8.00am in 30 degree heat. I have to admit I walked a wee bit on the way back. It was so hot!

    ... the bars where there is a cool breeze blowing. I listen to some music on my iPod and Peter does the same. Mine is Movie Soundtracks (the works of Michael Nyman being a particular fave). I would put my bottom dollar that Peter is listening to either, Girls Aloud, Cheryl Cole or Kylie, possibly Adele. After an hour and a half we go back to our cabin, very aware of how hot the tropical sun can be on our fair, Northern European skin.

    ... quite windy and there were a few kite surfers off in the distance making good use of it. In the bushes around the point were quite a few stray cats who were keeping well clear of the dog park nearby. By the time we walked back to Washington Avenue, the sun was definitely setting over the city which was really nice.
