    ... to find us.
    We had lunch at the beach again and then went for a swim. I had managed to burn the top of my legs whilst snorkelling yesterday so today I resembled a baboon with a bright red.backside!. We stopped at some waterfalls enroute. They were like a little trickling stream so a bit of a waste of time, but they were free to visit so hey-ho!
    Back in town we stopped for an icecream at a café called The Fat Cat that was named after one the Portuguese owner's 14 beloved ...

    We woke up with the sun shining this morning which was nice, we relaxed by the pool, looking out at the ocean, the boys had martini's, it was paradise.     But, as an Australian fellow climber pointed out, the reason that the waterfall is so dry is that it has ben sunny. It has rained very little, despite it being the rainy season. The rain seems to fall mainly early in the morning and during the night and is actually a fascinating sight. ...

    ... It can be your Asian Magaluf experience, or as I did, you can rent a bike and get out and see the island. There isn't too much sightseeing to do, but it's far better than being restricted to walking distance of your hotel. A couple of nice temples, and an underwhelming waterfall broken up by several large markets along the way. I did of course embrace the commercial side if the island. A couple of nights out and I even got the back of my right calf tattooed. Samui ...
