      ... the rough ride. The first stop was a white sandy beach and a short climb to an amazing look out point. The boys went swimming while I climbed up to take some pictures. Then we boarded back on the boat to have some lunch and go to our next stop. This was when we discovered that our underwater camera was no longer working!!!!!!!!!       ... of a deep coral colour, until at last they unleashed their grasp on the perfect circle of fire below. The staring competition commenced as I watched the sun slide up the sky like a magician mysteriously moving a magic penny without touch.       ... of siem reap , chaweng has been a little of a culture shock.. Having said that the hotel we stayed at was the best ( and costliest) so far and the beach was magic.. The food was great ( barracuda for me and squid for Aileen) . And actually it was with a little reluctance that we had to leave ( no room at the inn for " Mary and Joseph ") . Samui is pretty busy at the moment as it's high season anyway and plus the fact that people are avoiding Bangkok ...

      Over 20 000 people partying on the beach. I lost Alan and Thijs early on but managed to make many friends throughout the night. Ending the following AM at 1100 when I jumped on the bake of a bike and then took a truck with workers to our bungalow way up in the jungle aka middle of no where.
