    ... It officially lasts from 13 to 15 April but Chiangmai is known for its excessive celebration and overtime they extended the festival from around 11 to 16 April.     ... we walked about 2 kms to get there instead of being in the car the whole time, we arrived completely drenched and covered in powder.
