... in Thailand for a Visa run. Laying on a difficult to find beach with a fresh bought whole watermelon, saved in ice water I feel like the luckiest girl on this whole beach. Together with perfect Finnish company enjoying monkeyfilled days on a beautiful island. Yesterdays mission: getting a pocketknife and a thick plastic cloth to put over my hammock while camping. ... an important ordering tip. We were at a coffee shop where the kids could pick a treat. Evan told me "The SECRET is to pick the same dessert as Mom". I thought that Evan has realized that Jen has amazing ability to pick out the best tasting desserts. But NO instead, he went on to explain that if you pick the same as Mom she will not need to take a bite to taste it and he won't have to share. Wise beyond his years - at least when it comes to food.


Oh I do like to be beside the seaside.

... meeting the others. There is a tiny cinema in Kampot that shows The Killing Fields a few times a week and as it happened it was showing that afternoon. The 6 of us went to see it that afternoon. It's not what you'd call a cheery film. Many people were crying and we came out feeling a little depressed.
