... Over a thousand stalls selling everything from fruits to vegetables to honey to nuts and pink striped green beans!!! Incredible. I have never seen such magnificent tomatoes. And dont talk about the fresh cherries. we came back laden for supper to night. Dont ask me what we are going to do with the leftovers???? Padkos for tomorrow's trip down to Kas and Olympos????
Yesterday we spent the day at beautiful Oludeniz. Ah, and what a gorgeous little place ...

... to board a small boat for a cruise down to Dalyan. We thought there might have only been a few on the boat, but by the time it left at 10am it was fully loaded with Turks, Dutch, French and two Australians. We all had our tables and that was where we stayed! We sat with two lovely young Parisians and had a wonderful time dispelling some stereotypes ...

Sad to leave beautiful Kas with it's lovely warm weather and the lovely staff at the hotel and the rooftop terrace overlooking the water. Most hotels in Turkey give you a wonderful buffet breakfast with cereals, cold meats, cheeses and salads and hot eggs and other foods too.

At this hotel we had a dinner of a vegetarian buffet with bbq chicken, fish or meat, and a soup and dessert for a really reasonable price of A$12.

... they "play" with the horses lips and let them run all over them. I've had a few disagreements with the woman about how to avoid being bitten (my immediate response is to grab the nearest stick just to be able to catch the thing with my arm in tact). But hitting them is strictly forbidden. On top of that the people have taken a dislike to majority of the things I do because my attitude towards horses is different ...

... ferry to Rhodes. Imagine our surprise when we were met by a very defensive and grouchy woman who told us we were to have been here this morning for the 9 am ferry. For those of you that know Les, he doesn't make mistakes like that. He had sent numerous emails to confirm, including one on Wednesday.
