    Friday was my leaving do. It was my 'last Friday' before I fly, so I went to Lark Lane for tea and drinks with my friends and colleagues. It felt like it was someone else's leaving do, but with my friends there, so it was lovely.     Meeting my Uncle Alan, Dad's brother was something I anticipated doing years ago. To finally achieve my goal to meet our British family after my search began in Boston 20 years ago was both rewarding and satisfying.
