... with trips with mum and dad!!!) And eventually we make our way to Sherringham as mum and dad haven't been there before. We wander through the town and out onto the seafront – walk along and then sit on the stones watching the sea for a while before taking a look round the life boat station. Such extraordinary, selfless people – with each buzz of their pager, they willingly drop everything and completely risk ...
Wells next the Sea, England, United Kingdom travelmonster... the audio guides and wander round.
There is a black cat there who was a real fusspot, just wanted to be stroked, so we all stroke and fuss him and then we walk off. He seems to follow us for the first few points of the audio tour, so we end up naming him – Melkin. Melkin followed us all the way round the priory, he never really left our sides, particularly my dads, he was a real friendly cat.
Castle Acre priory is quite a substantial ruin of an old ...
... lucky gals) but to be honest we are talking about his live shows. I remember ole Doddy on TV with the diddy men and his little fluffy stick thing and being one to want to see for myself I booked tickets and eagerly awaited the night.
And today on Thursday 25th August 2009 it is here.

I managed a relaxing day when the girls (including Granny ) went shopping and I went fishing on the morning tide. Wrong time of the year really so all I ended up with was a couple of Weaver fish on the daytime tide
The basic criteria for a blog entry from my angle will be loosely dubbed an escape route from home, which involves at least an overnight stay in some shape or form, thus allowing a 2-night camping trip to a British seaside town to nestle alongside higher-budget and further-flung trips. With my trusty piece of canvas barely having been put to any use beforehand, pitching a tent at a campsite at the town of Burgh-Le-Marsh, on the ...
Skegness, England, United Kingdom jollyjetsetter... in the Jag and me on my bike. We found the shipping company that would be handling the bikes without any problem, however they didn’t have any waybills or any knowledge of the bikes being shipped out. The guys there were very helpful in contacting the right people to get the information and confirmation that they needed and sort everything out for the shipment. My bike was checked out pretty quickly and I was relieved when they told me a ...
King's Lynn, England, United Kingdom kochwebbWe stayed four days in Skegness (never heard of it???) Its very famous for an outstanding event. I was born there. I haven't been back for over 40 yeas. Its a seaside resort in the true English fashion. the Sand, deck chairs, pier (well half of one anyway, the other half blew down in a storm 30 years ago). On the seafront ...
Skegness, England, United Kingdom neverold... they all… So load-in, and then looking for fooood… Our rescue was the same restaurant chain we had trusted in so many other places, Weatherspoon: Ok food and most of all, free wi-fi connection. After our uninamous meal I decided that now I have to sit down and try to make some photos and write things and thoughts down… so I took some time off to compute a bit. Some time of that went also into chatting with friends via FB… in Finnish ;D

... t even stop to take a picture! We kept driving up towards Hunstanton and watched the windsurfers & surfers from the cliffs in the awful weather. Drove back to see if we could find a camp ground….the first one wanted £30per night, thought that was a bit steep! So kept driving on. Finally found a little camping ground near the sear in Snettisham which was much cheaper- £12per ...
Snettisham, England, United Kingdom nomads06... much I will miss them when I have left and headed back to Australia. After kisses and hugs, they hopped into their car and waved goodnight, but what could have been the best news possible for us was that their car didn't start. Unfortunately though, it didn't last long and after 30 seconds we were waving goodbye as the last family members drove off from Willingham Street. We returned back inside for showers and to completely finish packing ...
