... worse leaving without saying anything.
We took the 6pm ferry back to the main land. Made it just in time since this was the final ferry to leave the island for the day. Anyone left after that must spend the night.
One more stroll down Walking Street and 3 hours later arrived at the bus terminal departing Pattaya for Bangkok. Only 120 baht and well worth it even though it must have been -10 degrees celcius with the Air Con cranked up. I made it home by 11:30pm and went to ...

... I have to travel back to Bangkok, then on to there (I have no idea where it is on the map or even in Thailand)

I met up with a guy from the Thaivisa forums today,(Craig) we went to the Hilton and Festival Hall, they are really impressive on the inside, with some great places to eat, I wish I had met up with him earlier, he could have given me a real heads up on what to see in these new places that have gone up (he has a Thai wife, he now lives here, retired, a great life, all ...

... age for the male tourists was about 60...with many having a 20 year-old Thai 'girlfriend'. It was vaguely disgusting but then I am not one to pass judgment. I did lunch at a street stall (30B for red curry with pork and rice). After bumming around the overcrowded and dirty beach, I'd decided pretty much to take the Belgians' advice and head off to one of the smaller islands nearby. Ko Kood seemed too expensive to travel to (1200B + ferry), especially ...
