... up when we've missed certain events back home we would have liked to been there for. See you all soon! Also if you're reading this thanks to everyone who we met and have helped us along the way, some places wouldn't have been anywhere near as much fun if we hadn't had some great people to share it with.

If you've been reading this travel blog from the start and your still reading at this point, well done I probably couldn't have done it!

P.S. Mombasa, Diani Beach... attack of the jellyfish

... for the next day. Our next adventure is a camping trip in the South Western part of Uganda for a gorilla trek, estimated departure time 5:00 AM. PS, forgott to mention that we also say some beautiful colobus monkeys, and they didn't rob us! In Diani beach they have ladders going over the roads that the monkeys use so they don't get hit by cars (see pics). Also saw a crazy huge family of baboons running along side our taxi... no pics though. But they were so cute...even had babies.

Dorthin begleitet wurde ich von einem Einheimischen mit unaussprechlichem Namen, den ich erst abzuschuetteln versuchte, weil ich ihn fuer einen der zahllosen Safari-Quaelgeister hier hielt, doch ...

Nairobi to Mombasa

... we were the only white people at the "bus station". our friends looked worried as they pulled away in the mini bus. it was chaos. one little girl boarded the bus with her chicken in hand. they played music all night at full volume, god know's why. we slept with our bags in our laps, wedged tight in between us and the seat infront of us. we didn't move for the entre ride. it was rough. it was the first time we were on our own.

Working in kenya for 3 weeks

... were very welcoming and friendly. One night with one of the ladies I was staying with I was flicking through some of my Tonga photos with her and she recognized 2 of my volunteers who I was in charge of in Tonga who had stayed with her in Mombasa the year before, small world! Living with local people is a good insight into the country you are working in as you get to discuss politics and other such matters and also taste the proper home cooking ...

I ate chicken in Nairobi

... being set on fire or... But there are many characters in Kenya which brighten everyones' day. My current favorite is the manager at our hotel. I don't know his name, but I do know that he has three wives of which he is very proud of and that he rarely changes his clothes. But he told us of a great beach and brings us decent food for breakfest. From the currently cholera and bird flu-free travellers...
