Having decided that being near the Gulf was going to continue to be very windy, we headed inland. Along the way we stopped at Danevang, a small town established by Danish immigrants in 1895. The museum, unfortunately, was closed but we enjoyed the Danish surroundings and reading about the history on the various plaques displayed.

Wednesday. We walked into a full house around 6:00 pm. and grabbed a couple of
stools at the bar. We surveyed the
action, ordered a couple of drinks and struck up a conversation with the

0730. Woke up & we all started packing & cleaning up. 0930. We all took off for McDonald's. Not sure why because they were planning to eat Kim Son buffet in Houston for lunch. 1000. We parted ways from everyone. Mando & I made plans to meet up with Jeb for lunch. 1300. Had lunch at Nit Noi. Jeb got to meet Mando & Ava. It was a nice lunch. Good to see him after over a year. 1900. Got home finally. Unpacked & rested. It was an awesome trip! Can't wait for next ...
