... Vicky came to watch me play football on Wednesday. We did part ways on Tuesday though as Vicky joined her work colleagues for a night in the city. Up early to sort out change of plans for trip ... lets hope I get on flight tonight. Transfer back to airport with the hotel's free shuttle .. not the best hotel I've stayed in but it had a spa bath to relax in only problem was they were doing renovations and drilling started as I was leaving!!

... out the familiar shape of Matt. It had been five years
since we last saw each other, but we looked the same. We immediately
hugged and started talking like no time had passed. He got some
lunch, then we walked the 10 minutes to his house. He currently lives
with Kelly and her mum in a huge house. It was not huge by mansion
standards, but it just kept going when an average Aussie flat would
have stopped. I got a tour, met the family and cats, then sipped
... again, Bhrat joining us for a few films once again.
I wonder if you can guess what we did on Sunday morning? Watched films and not a great deal! This was until about noon when we got ready and went our separate ways for the second day running. It is Sunday afternoon and I am sitting our our new sofas trying to stay warm. It is pouring with rain and freezing outside. Of course nothing like the -6 most of Christchurch had this morning but very cold for some recent Perth-ites. It is to be like this all week so perhaps it is good to being going back to work.
