Today's weather was .......... not very good. Stair rods came to mind on more than one occasion. We had no firm plans at the start of the day and as the foul weather set in, our plans were submerged in deluge after deluge. Something indoors was clearly a solution, but we were bereft of sensible suggestions, as were the Guest Relations (!) ...

Poetry and weather go well (or badly) together in wet Wales. We've had a succession of rain, wind, hail and foul weather, interspersed with bouts of currant bun stuff.
