    ... pleasing and surprising end to the evening, Archie appeared on the field and the big screen as they asked him to pick the winning ticket in the prize draw! He asked the between-inning entertainment lady if he could get involved and she obliged! A video will follow when we can get it off Louise's phone! Another great day

    ... far, but have a few Internet connection issues here at the condo. This has required Andrew to become well acquainted with the technical support folks at the local broadband company and has also meant a trip out to their shop in a nearby town to pick up a replacement modern. We're hopeful of a resolution tomorrow, but at the moment the speed just isn't good enough to upload any photos.

    In the meantime, I'm doing some work, while the kids and Andrew ...

    ... our flashlight, exploring little tide pools and playing in the water. We took the path back through the “jungle” to get to the campground which was a totally different experience in the dark! I felt like I was trapped in Alice in Wonderland or something. The tree frogs and crickets were singing like CRAZY! They sounded like aliens! Blake and I couldn't even hear ourselves think as we winded down the path and back to the campsite, hoping ...

    ... are completely shot. Try to hail a cab, not happening. The heck with it, let's take the cart and try not to get pulled over.
    Driving in the shadows on back roads and quickly pulling into people's front yards every time a car came by.
    We get about 3/4 of the way home and the battery dies! Really? All set to carry 2 sleeping kids the rest of the way home when Craig drives up. Seems he found the car eventually.....

    Gorgeous morning, storm what storm :-). Happy Independence Day USA, I'm off to the gym the skipper still has a cold. We have to return the car this morning, then the plan is to watch the tennis on the pool bar tv hoping they are showing it.
