Today we spent the day with Jono, Angie and Josiah and Mike. Andrew and Lizzie were holding a wake for someone in their congregation who died today so we had to vacate the house until mid afternoon. So we went over to Mikes and saw Jono and the family. We had planned to see them last night but they didn't end up arriving until midnight so we waited until this morning to go and see them. It's funny because I had never met Jono before a month ago but I feel like he is ...

favourite ale or even a soft drink and before you try to size up the environment,
you will find yourself drawn into a friendly conversation that will centre
    around ...

... Shocking, right? But listen to this - the Cullinan I was cut from a much bigger diamond that weighed over 3100 carats (1.33 lbs)!!! The diamond was discovered in South Africa in 1905 and was transported to the UK by parcel post while a decoy was sent on a heavily guarded ship. Once in London, the diamond was bought by the Transavaal government and given to King Edward VII for his 66th birthday. The diamond was then taken to a jeweler in Amsterdam to be cut. The ...

... guard is just another military group at the guard-house, except their guarding a big house and they are in fancy dress! We kept wandering towards Hyde Park and Kensington Palace, and along the way, we came across a park with several wartime memorials. There was an Aussie Memorial, so we had a look at it. From a distance, you see a grey faced wall with white etchings and the words of our past battle locations standing out. Nothing spectacular – until you ...
