We made our way thru customs and over to the Canada side of Niagara Falls. We ate lunch at a cute outdoor patio restaurant facing the falls. We decided to get our hotel, drop our gear and walk 'both ways up hill, in the snow' to the Falls. Our plans were to take the 'Lady of the Mist' tour, but we were too busy taking pictures that we missed the last tour of the day by only 15 minutes. So we made our way to the I-Max and watched Dare Devil idiots ...
... We then settled in for the night and got off to bed.
After a stormy night of thunder and lightning and plugging up leaks from the rain as it woke us up dripping on us (perfectly timed, as the sealant needs at least several hours to dry and a week to fix), we decided to have a lie in till around 9.30am. After some breakfast we caught up on a few things online and then got ready to limp ...
Oh my goodness! All that water! It's totally awesome. We really enjoyed seeing Niagara Falls again after 36 years. The amount of water still amazes and awes.
We did all the tourist things--Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds, and took lots of photos.
... much shorter and everyone was coming back soaked. We also got some very fetching free green and blue sandals to wear for it. The walkway was again very busy, but it was fun and we got absolutely drenched, we were drowned rats by the end. It kept us cool in the heat though drying off. After that we headed for the Rainbow Bridge to Canada stopping for photos halfway across at the boundary line between the two countries. Getting through customs was actually ...
