Portage Indiana to Janesville Wisconsin

Today we head off towards Chicago this turns into a long trip thru the backblocks where we see another side of Chicago. What we see is very similar if not worse then Detroit. I am sure there are better areas but we didn't see them as we were following our GPS and it just takes you the shortest route.

On these e roads we found some of the largest pot holes people begging at traffic ...

This is my first entry before I depart for Scotland. I'm studying abroad in Dalkeith, Scotland for the fall semester. I'll be staying in a palace where I'll be eating, sleeping and going to class. Check out the website for the program: http://www.uwrf.edu/wis/.

El caso: Krisztina ha venido a pasar unos días conmigo durante la mitad de la semana. Snif, esta mañana aún estaba en San Francisco. Muy temprano, Nair y Edu me despedían en el aeropuerto. Ha sido una semana fabulosa, que culminó ayer con un perfecto último día. Primero, la madre de Krisztina me recogió a las 11 y me llevó a comer a un sitio estupendo en Sausalito, muy recomendable, The Spinnaker, con vistas fabulosas sobre la ciudad de San Francisco y el Golden ...

Well, the girls selected our final destination, The Mall of America. It has 500 stores, 50 restaurants, countless kiosks, a movie theater, an aquarium and an amusement park. The girls thought it was great, although they realized that it really was just a big mall. They bought lots of things and had a great time.

Time to head home...

... did not have housing until she arrived. We are supposed to have studied up on current events. I have not been keeping up to date on Australian news as of late because I finished finals a little under a week ago. If anyone knows of a good online Sydney news service some advice would be very much appreciated. I've tried the major papers but finding local news in them is a bit difficult!

Well, the trip is over now. Made it home safe and sound. A long flight, but at least most of it was on Qantas, and not something like American or United. Anyway, now I have to find some work so I can start saving for the next trip. Thanks for reading everyone.
