    ... on the line waiting for a bit of maintenance for an hour. No problem to us as we had no connection though it was causing some grief to our fellow passengers. At Queen Street we'd already bought our tickets to head out to Ian's at Garrowhill so we were able just to slip down to the low level and then he train turned up at immediately. It was strange heading past stations that were oh so familiar, High Street, Bellgrove, Carntyne, Shettleston ...

    ... in a soggy Glasgow in the late afternoon & walked the 3klms to our hotel on the other side of the river. Once there we quickly rejuvenated ourselves & headed back into town to meet up with Stevo (mentioned in the last blog). Steve met us in a busy after work style pub & he was very helpful in letting us know about Glasgow & where to go.
