    Wonderful stay

    from

we stayed at the carol ann in Sept.of 2003.we had a most wonderful time and everyone was very nice and accomadating. we were on our honeymoon.

we will definately be returning to this establishment.

    Great Place To Stay!!!!

    from

what a great place to stay friendly staff wonderful rooms with awesome view of the gulf. we loved the condo rental concept much more freedom to come and go as you please lots of room with own kitchen and seperate bedroom. rooms and grounds spotless and clean nice pool area BBQ shuffle board plenty of parking. an overall great experience would stay again!!

    Understanding "condo" hotels

    from

We have just returned from our second visit to the Carol Ann and were just as pleased this year as the first visit. The rooms are imaculate and beautifully decorated. The tiled floors make the upkeep a breeze, and the "condo" style facility allows you to feel at "home", not like you are in a rented room. The Condo-Concept is wonderful - by limiting the amount of housekeeping staff required, the condo-hotel is able to offer reasonable rates in well appointed rooms. One has to understand the Condo-hotel concept to appreciate the value you have found at the Carol Ann. If you were to "rent" a condo on the waterfront in Treasure Island, you would pay high rates, and have less services available - you would not only be required to clean up after yourself, but would also be responsible for doing your own laundry! Our family feels we have found the best of both worlds by staying at the Carol Ann Condo-hotel - just enough privacy with just enough service. This is a wonderful property for adult vactioners who are interested in having the comforts of home while away from home. When booking at a Condo-hotel, one must keep in mind that you are not booking into a full service hotel with maid service - you are renting a "condo" at hotel prices - and getting beautiful accomodations for the price of most single hotel rooms. Again our thanks to Carol Ann and her staff - all who welcomed us back with open arms and smiles. Cindi and Family

    Not family friendly

    from

Found hotle and employees to be not family friendly. The hard tile floors in the entire room was no the best for small children. The Carol Ann is better suited for older folks not traveling with any children. We were very upset when we had to clean our room prior to leaving. Our credit care vas then charged a fee for a coffee stain on the counter in the kitchen. I guess we were supposed to stop to pick up cleaning supplies while on our vaction so a housekeeper does not have to do her job once we returned home.I will never return to the Carol Ann nor will I recommend it to family or friends.

    Best Staff in town!

    from

We had watched the Carol Ann being built while staying at the low cost Tahitian next door. Since it was brand new, and looked classy, we never dreamed it was as affordable as it is. On our last visit we ran into some problems at the Tahitian and needed to change hotels. We stayed in a beautiful 2 bedroom unit, on the top floor (#5) overlooking the ocean and John's Pass - all the rooms have Ocean Views! The unit was spotless and very well maintained. Carol Ann and her husband, Bob are owner/operators and really understand the customer service aspect of their business. They do whatever they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You will often find Carol Ann in the office or around the pool just checking in with you and assuring that things are going great. Carol Ann makes you feel right at home and always has a smile on her face. The staff at the Carol Ann are courteous and friendly and we are thrilled to be going back for our second year at this facility. If you are looking for extremely clean accomodations, friendly staff, and a wonderful vacation spot I would strongly recomend the Carol Ann Condo for adult vacations. The beautifully decorated aparments are not geared for young visitors. I give this facility a 5 star rating - and appreciate having an "adult" facility to go to - I love the little ones, but look forward to relaxing by the pool without getting splashed! Three cheers for this refreshing find!

Lovely Memories of the Carol Ann Condo Hotel

    from

My husband and I rented two of the Carol Ann Condo Hotel's condos for six nights a couple of weeks ago. We walked into immaculate, well-appointed, spacious accommodations, and were charmed from the very first. There was even a spacious balcony to enjoy in the mornings and evenings - not one of those postage stamp-sized ones. And the beds were wonderful. Best of all, however, was the staff. We were made to feel not only comfortable, but welcome - most especially by a charming lady named Jenny. My husband's mother joined us, and our daughter and grandchildren. What lovely memories we made. Thank you to EVERYONEat the Carol Ann!

    Lack of Personal Touch

    from

It's a nice place to stay, fairly new and clean. However, I requested 2 extra pillows and an extra blanket. The children were a little chillier than the adults. We got accused of having extra people in our room, but we didn't. We were questioned by the person at the front desk as to why we needed them. The owner then accused us of having extra people in the room and also couldn't understand why we would ask such a thing. The swimming closes at 9:00 PM. The sliding glass door would not lock; maintenance was called. After a two period of waiting, no one ever came to fix the lock. The employees and owner must be very unhappy people or have been ripped off. Not that it's an excuse, but I guess if you want to stay there and you don't like sleeping with a pancake for a pillow, bring your own extra pillows and blankets or you'll get accused of wrongdoings.

Totally loved the carol ann condo hotel

Loved the Carol Ann Condo Hotel, Treasure Island, Florida Gulg

    from

I can highly recommend a stay at the Carol Ann. The family run establishment was friendly, clean, well managed and beautifully furnished. With an excellent pool and a superb beach on your doorstep it was difficult to decide where to spend the day, with pelicans flying overhead and dolphins swimming along the shore. For dining out try Sculley's The Hut at St John's Pass or Shells on Madiera Beach - both superb and family friendly.

    Friendly Staff

    from

Our vacation was saved last fall by Carol Ann and her staff. We had booked in at a hotel on the strip that had become very run down and tired, yet had increased their rates from our previous stay there the year before. We went in to Carol Ann's expecting the rates to be more than our budget would allow but thought we would give it a try. We met Carol Ann in person and she was so accomodating and gracious - we moved to her facility the same day, and enjoyed the rest of our stay on Treasure Island. The facility is wonderful, and decorated beautifully, but over all it was the staff that will bring us back again. Everyone was friendly and warm and truly cared about our comfort while at their establishment. If you are looking for comfort, class and hosts who truly understand customer service, then this is the place to stay!Cindi & Family

Eccoci qui arrivati al tempo di un'altra vacanzetta in Florida. Con l'inverno duro e lungo di quest'anno, era tempo. Appena arrivati, un po' di spesa. Poi al ristorante 'Crabby Bill's' per cena.

The electric company therefore started a viewing area so that people could see the Manatee (sort of a public relations issue so that people don't look at the big eye sore of the buildings surrounding the Viewing center).

Anyways, there weren't any manatee to be seen the day we were at the Viewing Center. Instead, we got to see shark and a variety of fish. While at the ...
