... started at 8 sharp, turns out we had a partially obstructed view. With all of the buildings around, the echo was even more spectacular than the fireworks. We watched for about 15 minutes then tried to find a better location. The streets were blocked off in many places, we found a slightly better viewing spot.

We walked backed to our hotel, thankful it was so close.

Hello World!

We met up with Johnathan from McGill/MASSA today! I haven't seen him in two years! I was so excited to meet him for dinner since he ALWAYS knows where the BEST places to eat are =).

On Monday after our company field visit we boarded a train
in Guangzhou and headed down to Hong Kong. In Hong Kong we stayed at Y-Loft
which is considered a hostel, however I thought it was decent enough. It was
