... and buses close to our little Panda! All was good though; apart from the fact that there was literally NO toilet or service station for well over 120km. So by the time we finally stopped we were busting for a wee, along with many many others! I can't understand this and it seems very poor planning as the shop and toilets were not coping at all well, with over 100 cars and people trying to park, buy food, go to the toilet etc.

... places to eat. Lucy was hungry again. Oh dear. Luckily we didn't stop at one of the restaurants along the canal and walked further where we stumbled upon a large open air market. It was really cool. Had lots of organic food stalls and lots of places to sit. Our host had encouraged us to eat Italian food and drink Italian wine so for the 5th night in the row we did. Well from the outside of city there is a breathtaking view of the upper town but once you are in it I woudn't say the same. Still there is plenty to see wandering around the streets and lots of lovely churches to explore. But it's definitely not the best medieval town in Italy.

... stamps for tomorrow's orientation. We walked around and found one, then forgot what they were called in Italian and couldn't tell the cashier what we were looking for. But he was pretty patient. Thanks to technology, one of the boy's "googled"it and found a translation. We purchased our stamps and then decided to go buy some groceries to hold us for the night.
