      ... the only break in the landscape was for tiny, beautifully-maintained wooden/bamboo homes that took immense pride in their property.       ... bags and had to pay 50 pesos each to do so. We didn’t think much of it at the time but you are just paying the porter to take your bag to the boat for you. You can walk it on yourself for free which we did every trip thereafter. We watched movies to pass the time on the ferry and it was a nice way to travel.

      We arrived at about 8:30 at night and hooked up with a tricycle driver who took us to San Juan which is supposed to be a nicer place ...

      Getting up early to leave for Cebu today. After picking up Joanna at home, where we had Spaghetti for Breakfast(?), we went on our way to the Airport. Seems that i was a bit distracted. I missed the turn to the Rental Car Return, which, at Manila Airport, means a looooooong way to get back where you started. Then i also forgot to fill up the tank of my Mini-Van, before dropping it off. Definitely distracted. I wonder why.... ;-)

      Wednesday! Body definitely feeling like I’ve skipped a day, which I have, as Manila time is 7 hours ahead of English time, so a hearty pancake breakfast was in order.
