... but both of us had decided that a day of mindless relaxation (like we haven’t had that the whole trip) would fair us better.

We arrive in Acapulco at 9:00AM and dock at the pier. We meet our tour guide and after about a 45 minute bus trip through the heart of Acapulco, we arrive at the resort. On the way, the bus stopped at a lookout for a five minute photo opportunity to view Acapulco Bay.

ACAPULCO
First stop on the cruise is beautiful sunny Acapulco Mexico.
Due to some wind and rain last night the ship is about 2 hours behind schedule.
We will be docking in Acapulco around 2pm or 12 noon Pacific time.
We are only here about 5 hours and have booked a tour of the Cliff Divers and Acapulco City ...

Jag var en hel dag i det antropologiska museumet, bland dom bästa museum jag någonsin varit i. Ett enrom och genomarbetat museum helt tillängnat Mexikos historia, men en ljudguide som sköter berättandet.

My next stop was Acapulco. I got a lot of help from a guy on my bus that shared a taxi, told me where I should get a hotel, did the talking for me etc...I should have hold on to that ...

so we make our bus from lazara cartenas where again we were harressed by drunken men (at 11 in the morning as well). we are getting a bit sick of constant attention and are empted to start bringing out the mase. bus ride was pretty long and i had a lady sat behind me who burped the whole time and kept grabbing my hair when resting her hand on the back of my chair ...

... speak fluent English. The hotel has a colourful interior, a pool with seating areas, and spacious modern rooms, with cable TV that are kept in pristine condition. Their rates are between 300 peso for a double and up to 900 peso for a suite that sleeps up to six people, but you shouldn't have any problems in getting discount on ...

... on her fourth consecutive year without a break. Enuff is the word! Backpacking to Acapulco would be a great thing. I can only imagine myself wrapped in a colorful towel and lying on the beach or taking a nap on the hammock. The cool breeze lulls you to sleep. And if you have a cocktail close at hand, it's bliss! We booked a lush last minute hotel room for 4 of us right off the port in acapulco for a fair deal... felt like we were on a family holiday as this hotel had 5 pools, bars, supermarkets, gym, kiddies club etc....cant complain! atfer our 5 hour bus ride we dumped our gear and took a walk around the golden beaches...by the way, acapulco is regarded nearly as touristy and busy as Cancun......lots of concrete and long beaches with life bustling day ...

It's a very large metropolitan city with al the classes of people you would expect.
