This morning it was a 7am call for a 7.30am breakfast. We were all up before the breakfast call went. Went out on deck and took some photos of the glacier – could see the icefield at the top of the mountains.

The Vikings were called first to go ashore and we went to the mud room early, not to push in – we waited until they were all lined up and going out the door – we then just joined the line behind them.

      Cold but beautiful

... How different life must be - remote from the village, which is remote from the nearest town, itself hours away by boat on a remote island, in the far north of Norway. There was a full moon and it was stunningly beautiful, although a little chilly. Wrapped up in my big fur hat ( thank you Natalie) it was magical. We stayed outside till about 1 am but no ...

Early breakfast so we could see 13th centry church on the way out of port. missed it!

Moved to viewing lounge, only there is no view, it's now foggier and snowing.

Was amazing to get all the crew together in one place. I had a really good time, few beers great friends and lots of dancing. Even the captain was up dancing! Secondly, lots of lovely ports on the second half of the med crossing. Went shopping in Barcelona and bought ...

      Day at sea

Lazy day at sea today. We've crossed back over the Arctic Circle now and it's still cloudy so, sadly, I don't think we'll see the Aurora again on this trip. Still twice in one 14 day trip isn't bad. Heading off to cocktail tasting in a mo but thought you might like to see today's vegetable ...
