Awoke to more beautiful mountains on each side of the ship. Mid morning we passed though a narrow channel at Risoyrenna, dredged in 1922 to allow shipping to pass between the mainland and the Lofoten Islands that run parallel to the coast for several hundred kilometers. Beautiful mountains, perfect blue shies, and small velvet green farms with red barns and houses lining the strait on each side. ...

... stuff off in the cabin and then got myself a cup of coffee and couple of biscuits and went to the stern of the ship to sit there in peace and quiet. Was soon joined by an English couple and we had a wide-ranging conversation which included religion. It was all very interesting and friendly.

Was amazing to get all the crew together in one place. I had a really good time, few beers great friends and lots of dancing. Even the captain was up dancing! Secondly, lots of lovely ports on the second half of the med crossing. Went shopping in Barcelona and bought ...

        Day at sea

Lazy day at sea today. We've crossed back over the Arctic Circle now and it's still cloudy so, sadly, I don't think we'll see the Aurora again on this trip. Still twice in one 14 day trip isn't bad. Heading off to cocktail tasting in a mo but thought you might like to see today's vegetable ...
