    Convenient location, helpful staff

A beautiful, clean and convenient hotel with spacious rooms just across the river, near some great restaurants. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, organising tuk tuk drivers and providing advice. The breakfast was great too. And the lap pool and outdoor deck was a nice bonus!

    Excellent Hotel for the Price

I love this hotel for its focus on enabling the local people by giving proceeds of their profits to local charities. The hotel is kept in good condition and has all of the amenities you will need in your travels: free Wi-Fi, free breakfast, rooftop bar, sky jacuzzi, sun deck, bikes to rent, a spa, and enough guides and maps to read for ages.

We had a great night’s sleep and went down to the charming hotel restaurant for breakfast, still amazed we were in Siem Reap already! We enjoyed the fresh food and arranged a tuk tuk driver for the day to take us to the temples.

After stopping to buy a three-day pass, we drove past some of the sites and through a number of …

Today we spend the time in Phnom Penh. We left the boat early at 815 so we could avoid the worst of the traffic. It still took an hour to go about 15 kilometres. Traffic is chaotic in Phnom Penh. We went to one of the killing fields where 1000s of people were killed and buried during the rule of the Khmer Rouge. At these places they tied the feet and hands of the victims and then slashed their throat. We then went to the ...
