A beautiful, clean and convenient hotel with spacious rooms just across the river, near some great restaurants. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, organising tuk tuk drivers and providing advice. The breakfast was great too. And the lap pool and outdoor deck was a nice bonus!

I love this hotel for its focus on enabling the local people by giving proceeds of their profits to local charities. The hotel is kept in good condition and has all of the amenities you will need in your travels: free Wi-Fi, free breakfast, rooftop bar, sky jacuzzi, sun deck, bikes to rent, a spa, and enough guides and maps to read for ages.

... over the centuries. When you're on site, there's a lovely sense of freedom to wander through the temples and clamber in any direction you wish but it was great to learn more about what it all means and how it all works. The temples were originally Hindu monuments, repurporsed for Buddhism when that became the more popular religion, however the iconography of both cultures live in beautiful harmony as well as symbols and relics of the great kings and kingdoms ...

... Ben, and a lovely, but crazy, polish girl Magda! We were also really excited to meet up with one of Katie's oldest friends from home - Louise, and her other half Ian :) Pub street could be described as a more sedate Kohsan Road but it's still wild with people partying & dancing in the street. It was a fun crazy messy night thanks to Magda. The morning after we made a vow to NEVER do buckets again! We nursed our hangovers with a thai ...
