A beautiful, clean and convenient hotel with spacious rooms just across the river, near some great restaurants. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, organising tuk tuk drivers and providing advice. The breakfast was great too. And the lap pool and outdoor deck was a nice bonus!

I love this hotel for its focus on enabling the local people by giving proceeds of their profits to local charities. The hotel is kept in good condition and has all of the amenities you will need in your travels: free Wi-Fi, free breakfast, rooftop bar, sky jacuzzi, sun deck, bikes to rent, a spa, and enough guides and maps to read for ages.

After stopping to buy a three-day pass, we drove past some of the sites and through a number of …

    ... in Angkor Wat.

After here, being up since 5am finally caught up with us and it was into the tuk tuk and back to the hostel where we got into the pool until it closed at 7pm. We then had some dinner before going to bed. It had been a long day.

The next day we had originally planned to leave Siem Reap but as we was so tired we decided to lounge by the pool for 1 day doing nothing.

Next stop for us takes us into Laos.

... welfare state in Cambodia, but she wasn't begging but trying to earn a living in a tough world. Cambodia still holds the title of the most land mined country on the planet, the legacy of which continues. Now we are going to attempt Bayon for the second time, the first time the crazy Korean tourists, sorry but they hunt in packs of at least 50 and if you have never seen them in action try to imagine a plague of locusts wearing sunglasses and carrying cameras, and you ...
