Awake very early this morning to catch the TGV (fast train) at 7.30am from Paris to Bordeaux. This trip was so smooth, but fast. The cars on the highway beside the train tracks are just left behind.
Down side of this trip is that you don't have a hope of getting a decent picture as they are a blur.
We picked up our hire car in Bordeaux and followed the scenic route thru many country roads and villages on the way to Sarlat.

I watched a man working in the vineyard whilst having breakfast.
