... A fabulous city. Wonderful shops, magnificent buildings and a couple of quirky items. The mirror d'eau (water mirror) was amazing. A wet pavement where you can walk or play which is misted at regular intervals. And the blue lion - why? But an amazing place to see. Even the cafe creme was excellent. It wasn't a cold night! A damp morning meant that it was fairly warm. The tap at the aire did not fit any of my connectors, so it was the aquaroll. We planned to get to Preignac. When we arrived, the aire was bollarded off and the water had been shut off. Presumably only open until end of September. So we went further along the Garonne to Cadillac. We arrived in to Bordeaux yesterday in a very cool 15 degrees, hooray! I actually might be able to blow dry my hair for the first time since leaving in August.
