Nach Brest ging es also südwärts nach Bordeaux. Endlich kann ich meine Kappe und meine Handschuhe tief in meinem Rucksack verstecken. Übernachten durfte ich bei Couchsurfern aus Ungarn. Ein gleichalteriges Studentenpärchen aus der zweitgrössten Stadt in Ungarn, die niemand kennt. Robert, momentan etwa so am studieren wie ich, zeigte mir die ganze Stadt. ... St-Andre, et la tour Pey-Berland, l'ecole de la magistrature avec ses formes excentriques, le marche des grand hommes(!!!), le grand theatre, le palais gallien et finalement le jardin public.

A travers tous ces attraits, nous avons trouve le temps de visiter une boutique de vins de Bordeaux pour finaliser nos achats et arriver a la limite des exemptions personnels d'Emilie.

Early in the morning I purchased a lonelyplanet app for Bordeaux... A big help. Gen has been rather ill the past couple days and thus moving around proves difficult. We managed to see a couple churches as well as le garden public... At this time of year the grounds were mostly green with some bright yellow mums I could see myself curling up with a good book and sitting here for hours. ... du vigneron, qui s'est associe a ses parents pour continuer l'entreprise familliale. Apres avoir deguste tous les produits de la maison, nous repartons les mains pleines de bon vins!

La route qui longe le Lot est tres sinueuse et elle offre un tres beau decor de vignes et de chateaux. Apres avoir traverse la region du Cahors d'est en ouest, on se dirige vers le village de Saint-Emilion.

... we will attempt a wine tour or wine and cheese lesson and perhaps more exploring down the river. Right now I'm off to bed the wifi does not work in my room and my iPad is locked in my bag at the front desk... There are no lockers just one communal lock room that everyone uses. So our packs are with us in the room and so far it's just the two of us in a 4 bed room. That could change. We have our own shower but no toilet...go ...
