I've wasted my last day on earth eating cold pickled herring waiting for a bus I never got on. I just ignored the gun and carried on with packing my things pointing at my bus. They looked at my passport once again and said 'See you Later, Schmidt.' I could have laughed or cried or both then. In my overwhelmed state ...

... TV, newspaper and radio reporters. The excitement continued to grow.

Then came my presentation. Although I cut the contents down to 30 minutes, it took about an hour with Tomek translating for the Polish-speaking audience. No one walked out! No one fell asleep! They LOVED it. I was in seventh heaven.

Immediately following the presentation, the guests were invited outside ...
