An early start to beat the forecast worsening weather, meant an up before sunrise and airborne for a 600 mile cross country west, across another couple of states. appartement tot ik iets hoorde piepen in een meterkast. Ik legte mijn
oor ertegen en hoorde duidelijk een vogel. Ik zocht naar de opening maar
kon er geen ontdekken en trok de conclusie dat het arme beest vast zat.
Zonder veel beweging te verwacht, omdat ik dacht dat hij op slot zat,
trok ik aan de voorkant van het kastje. Verbazingwekkend trok ik de
deksel er gemakkelijk van af. Takjes en zand viel in kleine hoeveelheden
