Ok so the houseboat party was a pretty epic and amusing way to start but it was time to escape the non-stop rush and smog of the big smoke and head south to Songkhla were we have been VERY kindly looked after by a family friend and his family called Martin.

Martin is english and teaches english in a local school, he has been in Thailand for 7 years and is married to a Thai lady called Supinda (sp?) with two kids; Nana who is 6 and little Ron who is 10months.

... now leave Thailand for somewhere else (Kuala Lumpur for example) and fly back to get the full 30 days. Also, Ranong is the only place where you can enter Myanmar (Burma) by land, albeit only for a day. Nowadays the visa run crowd is much smaller, although stayers on the Thai islands hereabouts still make a day trip from Phayam or Little Koh Chang to add the extra 15 days to their tropical flop.
