Today we left Oregon and drove into CA. We were still in the mountainous area so the scenery was mostly pine trees and foothills. Then, all of a sudden, we saw this huge mountain in the distance. We kept driving closer and closer and we went around a big curve in the road and there it was - Mt. Shasta, another 14,000' mountain in the Cascade Range.

... been the official Ronald McDonald. As you would expect from his previous job, he had quite the sense of humor, as did his winery. There were large pictures on the wall that displayed people dressed as clowns doing comical things. The artwork was joined by multiple rubber chickens that helped to set the mood. It was the perfect place for us. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the location accessible.
