California October 21st to 23rd
October 21st Norman had email to say flight wa was cancelled and Norman booked another a bit earlier but via Washington. MC took us to Heathrow. N had negotiated us v g seats by emergency door and an empty one between us. 8 1/2 hours. iPad brilliant. Read and did puzzles. Kept legs moving. Washington airport enormous, walked miles! I had a hearty breakfast at the Big 3. I can only imagine that the name refers to having three big meals but I am not sure. The spa here is famous because it has its' own source of mineral springs. Continuing the Adventure Back Home
