... We drove by the front of the Von Trapp villa, as well as the Nonnberg Abbey where Maria was a nun. ... brief view of this gorgeous lake and mountains mom and I got dropped off in the National Park's administration building for an hour to watch a video of what the Alps look like instead of actually going to go see them. The video was like Dad just turned on Netflix, so mom and I found coffee instead until the guide picked us back up. ... archbishop built himself this retreat and had a lot of fun doing it! There are lots of water powered 'trick' fountains. For example a table you sit at, but then water shoots straight up from the middle of the seats! There were stone deer heads (which shot out water from the antlers) and holes all through the pathways and walls that shot water.
