    We are in Germany!! Left Saturday morning for Cleveland Hopkins Airport, parked car at the Day's Inn and took the shuttle to the airport.
    check in was smoothe and so was the flight to JFK in New York and the one to Amsterdam. Did nit get much sleep, but landed in Amsterdam about 5:30 am their time. Delta said they would not bring my battery ...

    ... lounge and they called each floor (there are three) half at a time to check in. It took about twenty minutes before they called our floor (we are in the economy class-two port hole windows). Then we were escorted to our room about five minutes later. Very quick and orderly. Sannie and Bruce and Pawp and Jayj are across the hall from us. Our room attendant is Elena! (Mi llamo Elena!)     ... the Inn river. We cross over into Austria and continue along the bike path for a few miles. This has definitely got Bob thinking of another bike trip....as the bike path follows the river quite a long way. Passau is the beginning of many bike tours along the river to Vienna....about 300 km away. Back to Germany ...

    ... It was really run to bike ahead of our ship, then stop to wave to our parents as they passed and take photos. The ride really gave us a great perspective of the small towns along the river, and the beautiful scenery which surrounds them. It was a great experience, and especially fun to ride into the city of Passau, crossing the river, and then along the large dam/hydroelectric plant that spans the river along the western side of the city. ...

    ... to store and transport beer, refrigeration for houses, and fresh water. They were cool and moist, and I’m glad we had a guide with us or we most definitely would have got lost! The poor guide, even in Czech, you could tell she was nervous, and we learned at the end of the tour that it had been her very first tour being the guide on her own!
