... but so full of history. We did a guided tour of the town and then had free time to explore the centre and market square also the local church. We had lunch in the square and then explored a bit. After a quick (and I mean quick) tour of downtown Vilshofen, we came back to our room and packed for Prague. We then attended a going away mini "Oktoberfest" set up on the town dock, had a wonderful dinner, and we are calling it a night. We leave the ship at 8:30 tomorrow morning.
Some final thoughts about the cruise.
... the river eventually finding ourselves across from the city of Neuburg before heading back. Past the rolling farmland we come to the village of Ingling (with an interesting old farmhouse) then on to Innstadt before crossing a bridge in to Passau. Biking along the riverside we come to the place where the three rivers converge before finding the ship and giving our backsides a rest. All in all it was a wonderful ride on ...

Even if we were considered to be in quite a high altitude it was really hot. After we came back home all of us jumped to the swimming pool and played a few games. Later Gonzalo opened his “Gonzi´s Bar” and started to serve amazing drinks for everybody :) Thus we got a little bit tipsy immediately and had even more fun. What a pleasant day! ...
... so intrigued by the variety of glassware we forgot there was a 2 hour limit in the car-park. When we finally got back, there were 2 tickets on the car which we thought was a bit mean, before realising that one ticket was for the front number plate and one was for the back.
