... 8.5 knot proportion, heeling right over, bouncing over the waves, tearing across the north Ionian sea like a madboat. Fan-tas-tic! We reached our evening berth, Lakka, back on Paxos, at about 5pm. Lakka is a really lovely little town - would really recommend this (and Paxos) as a holiday destination. Apparently during the Communist time, the leader thought there was a possibility of attack on Albania so he ordered that a bunker be built for every family, bringing the number of concrete bunkers to a total exceeding 750000. Family members were taught how to use weapons and utilise their bunkers in preparation for attack......but nothingever happened! And now the bunkers remain today and you can see them randomly pop up on hill slopes, road sides ...

We have docked about 8 am and watched the operation from the
restaurant during breakfast. At 10 am we walked off the ship and onto a waiting
bus that took us 500 meters to the arriving hall. Here we went through border
