I think I have one of the better rooms so far on my trip because the room stays dark until late! The window is kind of blocked by a wall so it was really nice to wake up at 8 instead of 630! And I finally have Americans in my room! I They world hasnt been taken over by the Chinese. My first mission of the day was to find medicine and I luckily found one that was open on Saturdays. The ruins of the Berghof, the houses of Goering and Bormann and the SS barracks were blown up in 1952. Only a few buildings remained, including the Eagle's Nest and the bunker complex. The Americans only returned this area to Bavarian domain in 1996 when they withdrew. After lunch and a walk around in 900 year ...
