... city being mostly Protestant) and in fact 80% of the property in Rapperswil is owned by the Catholic Church. Marcello took us to the towns Rose Garden, showed us around a little of the old town and then let us loose for an hour which included our lunch time. We had a lovely dinner last night at our hotel restaurant. I had baked bass, Eldon had mushroom risotto, and we also had a side salad and a side of green beans. We were in Italy so it didn't cost us an arm and a leg.

It was just outstanding. I loved it. Would actually just sit back and do it again, soaking it all in. Said goodbye to Gaudenz at Brig. Arrived at Zermatt and very easy to find the hotel. Great day. Many thanks to my travel companion! He's the one with the 'other' red ...

We left the hotel after a nice buffet breakfast. I made sandwiches again for our lunch. I feel a little shish doing this, but when I see what everyone else eats compared to us it truly shouldn't make me feel guilty.

We were in Liechtenstein in short order this morning. It is such small country and so close to Austria and Switzerland. We got to the city of Vaduz, which is the capitol, and had a major walk to ...
