... since the first rail-tourism to the mountain is in August 2012 so it has probably paid for itself many times over by now.

We did a few hundred additional kilometers in the car and delayed this part of our trip for good weather. We think the effort was worth it but we’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. ... tells him her friends are sitting there, he snaps…flings the burger on the table and gets up and slowly makes his way out! I felt so bad for him, no one had helped him, the cleaning lady didn’t wipe up the slippy mess and then the girl wouldn’t let him eat his burger!! Aww!

... He Ted us for a stroll throughout the old part of interlarken. Despite a few grizzles (not from the kids but nik I might add!) we actually had a lovely walk and look around. I feel like I at least saw interlarken vs just a quick stop over. Passed by some fantastic shopping on the way back to the hotel but alas the next day was Sunday and almost all were closed. Did get my s&p shakers though ...

... I was using didn’t add the detergent automatically like the others and I needed to do it myself, so the one hour cycle had to run without detergent. But then the cycle wouldn’t stop spinning! Once I fixed that problem – with the reception girl’s help - the cycle wouldn’t start! *sigh* I put the washing in at about 6pm and didn’t pull it out of the dryer until 11pm!
