    ... left late & ate up 14 mins. So we only had 2 mins to make the connection. Believe me it was just like in amazing race, as we made the 100 yard dash, at a sprinters pace to make the connection. Marilyn was about 30 yards behind as I got to the train. She was worried that I was going to leave her behind. Would I do that?

    So today was an example of how wonderful my husband Craig really is. Many years ago in 1983 when we Eurailed our way around Europe our train stopped at a pretty place called Zell am See in Austria. We were going to Salzburg and Craig said at the time – let's go back and have a look at this town one day. So it was on his bucket list. We left Hotel Tauterman and it was a very pretty drive to Zell am See. ...

    ... Crazy Daisy for our supper when we were walking around shopping. We sat outside under an umbrella and a heatlamp. We all got the Weinerschnitzle, Larry and Erin got potatoes and Derek and I got Gemuse (veggies). And of course we all had beer, mine a radler. We were right beside the train track and at least 4 trains went by during supper which we all liked. After supper we went back to the appartement and blogged and did Facebook before going to bed.

    Anyway, we reached the office and met up with the rest of the group, about 30 of us, which by the way is NOT a small group tour in my book. Nevertheless, we boarded the bus and began the tour.     ... a small cobblestone spur road with lots of hairpin turns. Once at the top we had a 360* view. To commemorate the Peak I bought a pair of socks with Edelweiss flowers on them. We stopped at the Fuscher Torl, a memorial built in memory of the builders of the road. We had a good view of the tallest peak, the Grossglockner for which the Road is named.
