... It was poisonous though so we weren't allowed to touch it. Until... They took the knife I was using to cut the black passionfruit with and chopped it's poisonous teeth off (they grow back so there's no harm to nature done here!) Scott was first to hold it, I wasn't going near the thing! After lunch we trekked down the massive hill, it was slippery and we basically had to climb and hold on to all the vines whilst going down. Even that made us hot and sweaty and we were in the shade ...

When we got off the plane and walked across the runway to the arrivals door, we were walking beside the luggage trolly that men were pushing our bags from the plane to the terminal on, and beside the door we entered through, there was a conveyor belt that ran about ten feet into the room and then dumped the bags off to be picked up by another worker or the owner. ... so delicious I went for a second round of the satays with more sauce of course. Yum! With our bellies full we finally made out way to the bus terminal for our 13 hour over night ride to Beristagi. Despite it being one of the more comfortable buses (even providing a pillow and large fuzzy blanket) I had a hard time sleeping as a result of their insane driving. I swear I am never going to get used to how they drive here in Asia. Straight aways are slow and steady, ...

... a steep hill to see a family of 3 orang utans. A mother and 2 of her offspring. Incredible! They seemed so relaxed and swung easily from tree to tree. One of the guides held out some bananas and so an orangutan came right down in front of us to take them. Orang utans are much fluffier than they appear on tv! We were lucky enough to see 8 orang utans in all. The most special was a mother with her ...
