... singing songs and playing games with the kids. Santa was even there! It's nice to celebrate the holiday here, but of course it's not the same as being at home with my family, with lots of snow outside and mom's Christmas cookies to eat. Wherever you are, however you celebrate, Merry Christmas everyone.

      Cheryl :)

P.S. It may be a while before I write again, not until after my winter holiday, but I will have some good travel stories and photos to share! Happy new year 2015!

There was such a variety of acts, from accordions, to sand arts, a number of ...

Zach, the guy that owns Zax BQQ and hosted it, reacted out the bar upstairs just to be able to accommodate the number of people. It was a really fun night, thanks giving food, beer pong, good company and great music! I really ...

... understanding concepts, between classes not just in our own subject. It is actually working quite nicely. It was a very strange experience considering we had to stop every couple of sentences so one of our students could translate for us. Not many parents asked questions, and a couple simply complimented us, saying they were happy about their child's progress, and felt their shield rent were safe with us. It was definitely different from Canadian parent teacher, no ...

... double for water jugs due to the fact that they were buying so much to be able to wash their hands. Profiting off of students who are attempting to stay clean in this backwards country. Honestly disturbing, but I guess no different than the stores out west who started charging 50$ for water following the horrific floods in Alberta two summers ago! Hanging in there although the the water situation and lack of sanitation is starting to affect my OCD. I suppose its all part of the ...
