... towel, cold tea with lime and ginger and a 5 minute neck/shoulder massage...mmmmm - they got us - booked in for a 45 minute massage straight after a swim in the pool. Got ready for dinner and just managed 1 happy hour beer before being picked up. Dinner with the girls and then said our farewells as they were catching the boat to Phnom Penh early next morning.
Back to the Victoria and cocktails on the terrace watching the river and its dependants rolling past. ...

The inverted commas indicate the vileness and bogus nature of these concoctions. Thuy is enjoying herself immensely, refilling our tiny glasses, leading the ‘mot, hai, ba, yo!’ chorus. ... and the back rest reclined from upright to about 30 degress from horizontal. The AC failed to keep the temperature below 30 C (that`s 86F) but for all that we could read, sip water, sweat and then recline and sleep quite easily.

The country side whizzed past, fairy uniform with large rice fields some palms and lots of rivers or canals to cross.
