... the heavy backpacks and walking about. I'm already in love with Hoi An, it's so much quieter and way cleaner. We actually managed to walk the full 30 minutes to our hotel without having one person stop and ask us to buy something! So shocking! The homestay grounds are so lush with palm trees and exotic plants. There's two buildings that each have multiple small villa homes. It's so peaceful and relaxing to look out the windows or sit on the veranda and see greenery. ...

... nearly crashed, locals burning down the trees and bush to get more soil, river bed made of white stones, brown and blue and green water, police weighting the trucks, restaurant full of nearly naked men, public water station to cool down trucks' brakes, magnificent waterfall very far and high in the hhills probably 40-50 meters tall and two lovely kids chasing the tire with the stick.
