... a tour company or a restaurant that offered cooking classes - aside from some of Asia's finest tailors, Hoi An is apparently rather widely regarded as an excellent destination for food lovers - having tried the Cau Lao yesterday I wasn't surprised. And as such, it seems most restaurants offer a rather pricy cooking class for you to indulge in. It was a beautiful day outside, with bright blue sky and plenty of warmth in the air, but a gentle breeze ...

... folklore house, where we sit and watch a traditional Vietnamese dance with orchestra. The instruments were amazing...can't keep our eyes off of these musicians! The vibe is so nice...

Now...more Cau Lau! This is our favourite Vietnamese dish right now and they only make it in Hoi An!! Why? In order to make an authentique Cau Lau, the noodles must be made using water from a well inside the city limit ...

... tailor clothes for you. When we got to the river, and it was getting dark, all the lights came on, hundreds of colored lampshades strung along all the shop fronts, it was so pretty, and then there are the ladies selling floating candles for the river too, all added to the very picturesque town. It was a new moon, so the candles are apparently for you to make a wish with. We also saw the Japanese covered bridge, which is one of the sights here, it was pretty cool ...

This place is bed and breakfast, perfect, I think its a trek into town, we haven't ventured there yet. We borrowed some bikes from the guest house (they are free) and went off out on a bike ride loop. Within 5 minutes away from the accommodation was rice paddy fields, a man with a tractor plowing them, water Buffalo's everywhere, it was so pretty. Got lots of pics, and a baby water buffalo walked really close to me, yup I was a tad concerned it'd buck or chase me, but ...

... I had to wait around 20mins until they were ready to let us board. It was now that I realised that the Lao tourist companies fill every seat before leaving. We boarded minibus which apparently wasn't big enough so we swapped into another that was slightly bigger only up then get 4 more people onto the already crowded bus plus their backpacks.

3hrs on a overcrowded minibus with no breaks was not fun for anyone. When we finally arrived into Pakse we were dropped off around ...
